Jordan Foster Construction signed an OSHA alliance to protect workers building a 70-acre Public Safety Training Academy campus in El Paso, Texas. More than 1,300 workers at over 100 Georgia jobsites joined the Georgia Utility Contractors Association's trench and excavation safety stand-down, reviewing competent-person requirements, hazard recognition, and best practices for the trenching fatality category that consistently leads construction enforcement totals.

On April 24, 2026, PHMSA issued 40 notices of proposed rulemaking, final rules, and direct final rules updating Parts 191, 192, and 195 of federal pipeline safety regulations. Thirteen final rules affecting gas pipelines, LNG facilities, and hazardous liquid operators became effective August 3, 2026.
